John McCain Meet Miss Teen South Carolina…

Published by khlindsey at 12:20 am under Current Events Edit This

McCain does not have a good track record trying to “one-up” Obama. There was the night of June 3, when Obama clinched the delegate count and became the “presumptive nominee” of his party. Senator McCain chose that night to hold a rally of sorts in Kenner, LA (which he inaccurately referred to as New Orleans)…The whole scenario was ill-advised from the Kelly green background that read, “A Leader We Can Believe In” to the fact that there really was not much of a crowd in attendance. It was sad.

Later that night, Obama appeared in Minneapolis/St. Paul in front of 17,000 supporters with 15,000 additional supporters listening outside.

Today, history repeated itself. With the presumptive Democratic Party nominee in Iraq, meeting with Al Maliki and other representatives of his government; the Republican Party presumptive nominee was making the rounds on the morning talk show circuit. I am not sure what Senator McCain accomplished; but I am sure what it reminded me of…
