Please Don’t Take Away the E Trade Baby!
My brain feels like a waterlogged sponge. I can not take in one more fact about the Worldwide Commercial Paper Crisis, the bi-polar-ness of John McCain’s Election Campaign, or what actually constitutes the Axis of Evil. Therefore, I decided to prioritize the things in my life I am not willing to give up, considering the approaching depressing recession.
I will not give up Diet Coke, so Coca Cola rest assured; your stock is in good shape!
I will not give up my flip-flop wardrobe; albeit I might have to learn to self-pedicure.
I will not give up my love for good tuna salad, but the cracked black pepper might be negotiable.
I will not give up good hair days, but I will work to appreciate them more.
I will not give up talking to my friends; but we might need to strategically time those calls 
I will not forget to smile at everyone I meet; because some times it is all I have to give.
I would also like to say that I hope E*Trade realizes how enjoyable their commercials are; the ones featuring E*Trade Baby—No matter how bad things are, this little boy makes me laugh till I cry… and that is a good thing!

And coffee, and books; although, we may have to choose Folgers instead of Starbucks and libraries instead of Amazon.com.
My lady always makes fun of me because I crack up every time I see that lil’ bastard. She doesn’t appreciate the funny, but I do. And that’s all that matters, dammit.
